Hip Hop Instructor

Jenna Rae Smith received most of her early training in her hometown of Youngstown, Ohio before attending Point Park University to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in modern dance.

There, she had the opportunity of becoming an original member of fireWALL Dance Theater and a faculty member at Millennium Dance Complex Pittsburgh.

There, she regularly taught jazz funk, hip hop and contemporary classes. Jenna has choreographed for the Harlem Globetrotters Halftime Show, as well as several jazz funk and hip hop pieces for the fireWALL Dance Intensive Showcase.

While residing in Brooklyn, she has been a part of several different projects and companies and is currently entering her third season dancing with the Pocket Fuel Groovers—a New York based company with a unique style influenced by elements of contemporary, hip hop, street dance and martial arts.
