Kayla grew up in Connecticut before moving to Colorado in 2019. While in Colorado, she danced as a student in the Professional Training Program for Canyon Concert Ballet; and was promoted to be in Canyon Concerts Second Company in 2022. Kayla moved to San Francisco in September of 2023 to be a part of Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program, which she graduated from in May of 2024. While in San Francisco, she began teaching pre-school level dance at Tutu School West Portal. For the past two summers, Kayla has guest taught at Dancing For Joys Summer Intensive in Bellingham, Washington. She now attends SUNY Purchase College and is studying to get her BFA in Dance. Kayla is in her first season with Encore and is ecstatic to continue making lasting connections and further children’s dance education.
